Our work experience students should be sharp and inquisitive, ready to dive into the real-time work of our office and poised to pitch in with whatever needs doing. They will be working alongside staff and our founder, contributing to live projects. The tasks will vary depending on what’s happening in the office, but rest assured it’s a busy fast-paced environment where students will learn a lot; they’ll need a tenacious spirit to keep up.
We’re looking for individuals who are interested in business communications and local developments. Short of asking for all-rounders, we’d like students who would call themselves a people-person, who pay high attention to detail and are good listeners. We’re open to individuals who can offer a wide range of skills, varying from design, graphic design and writing, to web development, social media and project management. Above all, the work experience students should be enthusiastic, eager to sample the life of a Marketing Communications Executive, and good multitaskers too.
Tasks could include:
Plus unique, project-specific, activities. Historic examples include website planning, proofreading, sourcing and vetting services, event preparation, reporting, creating project proposal documents and social media management.
The subjects taken at school are important, but we recognise that’s only part of the picture. We’re very interested in what students do alongside their studies; so if they have supporting artwork, social media presence, articles or examples of event or project management, we’d love to see those too.
To consider students fairly and equally we expect them to apply with a CV and covering letter, plus any aforementioned supporting material they’d like to share. For more information please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
